Hi! I'm Diane Robinson, your neighbor and local pet sitter. I've been dedicated to my passion for animals and their care for several years I was always the go- to person when family or friends needed help with their pets. After a long career as an administrative professional, I decided to become a professional pet sitter in 2018 in order to provide quality, loving pet care services from Woodlawn to the Chicago Loop and beyond!
I pride myself on my patience, kindness and passion for this business — and I hope my clients would agree! I take it seriously, that's why I hold a certification as a Professional Pet Sitter through NAPPS, (National Association of Professional Pet Sitters). This certification requires me to maintain a knowledge base in pet care, health, and nutrition. I'm also certified in Pet First Aid.
The service is reliable and caring and scheduling is convenient when using the Scout for Pet Owners app, You'll be able to schedule visits, pay your invoices, and with each visit, you receive a report card that includes photos and a GPS map of the walk's route! Its the next best thing to being there!

A FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
In order to ensure a positive experience for all the members in my pack, I have a few policies in place to make sure things run as smooth as possible:
While we always try our best to accommodate a last minute request, it's best to schedule ahead of time to ensure we can serve your needs! In the event we do fulfill a last minute request, there will be a $10.00 last minute fee. Appointments scheduled within 8 hours of the requested time will be considered last minute.
Billing for services ends each week on Sunday. Payment methods that are stored on the Scout app will be processed the following Monday.
If you need to cancel an appointment, please feel free to do so. All I ask is that if it is on short notice, please try and cancel within 30 mins. of the appointment, otherwise there will be an automatic $10.00 cancellation fee.
While accidents do happen sometimes, there may be an occasion when we arrive at your home to walk your dog and they've had an accident in the home from being ill. Besides being pretty messy, it can sometimes require a time-consuming cleaning job, which can end up being problematic for the rest of the day's schedule. In the event an accident does occur and requires a major cleanup, I have established the following procedure:
You will be notified with the details of the incident along with photos. You'll have the option of paying the cleaning fee which is billed in 15-minute increments at $6.25. If you choose to use another source for the cleanup, please let me know and I will make sure the pet is cleaned up and placed in a secure location per your instructions.

Monday - Friday
8:30 am - 5:00 pm
5:30 pm - 7 pm (After Hours)
*After hours are from 5:30 pm to 7 pm Monday through Friday and 5:00 pm to 7 pm on Weekends and Holidays. There is no after hours up charge for the Overnight Visit.
We are typically off on weekends but are sometimes available to work. It is best to schedule ahead of time to check availability.
** We are available on select holidays. Those holidays will be posted below and services provided on that day will be charged the holiday up charge.
